The information below refers to repeats on schedule 3 – 6 prescription medications
In compliance with section 22A of the Medicines and Related Substances Act, 1965
(Act 101 of 1965), after 6 months, a full clinical examination must be performed
and a new prescription must be obtained.
This regulation is in the best interests of your pet. Disease conditions change
and it is important that your veterinarian establish amongst other things, that it
is safe for your pet to continue the prescribed medication.
