Puppy classes
OUR PUPPY SCHOOL CATERS FOR VACCINATED PUPPIES BETWEEN 8 AND 20 WEEKS OF AGE. PUPS MUST HAVE HAD AT LEAST THEIR FIRST VACCINATIONS TEN DAYS BEFORE THEY START CLASSES AND KEEP UP TO DATE WITH THEIR VACCINES DURING THE COURSE
The classes are held on a Thursday evening from 5pm to 6pm, and your pup can start on any week as we have a roll-on-roll-off rotation.
The course is six weeks long and covers socialisation, basic obedience and educational talks such as nutrition, behaviour and health care.We believe hands-on puppy time is essential in class so we use a private WhatsApp group covering important theory topics for additional information ie. video and article links.
The course teaches pups how to cope with everyday situations as well as basic commands such as sit, walk to heel etc. Our instructors will alert you to potential problems by teaching you to recognise your pup’s behaviours and understanding their body language. We aim to have socially well-adjusted puppies.
Our instructor will show you how to train your pup using positive reinforcement, incorporating fun games and supervised puppy free play. The whole family is welcome and encouraged to be part of the learning.
The cost of the course includes a starter pack, a rosette and a prize on graduation.
