Westville Veterinary Hospital is open 365 days a year to ensure your pet need never to go without the best available veterinary care. Sundays and public holidays are, however, reserved for emergencies only.

EMERGENCIES

We offer Excellence in Veterinary Care 24/7. Our well-equipped hospital and veterinary staff are on hand to assist with any emergency you may have with your pet.

We do appreciate that emergencies occur beyond your control, but a phone call to say you are on your way allows us to prepare a team to handle immediate care of your pet.

Please note that an after hours surcharge is applicable to consults outside of usual consultation times.

CONSULTATIONS ARE BY APPOINTMENT ONLY WITH THE FOLLOWING CONSULTING TIMES

Mondays to Fridays 8:30 - 6pm

Sundays and public holidays: Emergencies only

Surgeries and any involved medical work-ups need to be scheduled ahead of time

For the safety of you and your pet we request that all dogs be on a leash and all cats be in a cat basket when attending the practice.

Our shop is open from 8 am until 11 pm daily - including Sundays and public holidays

REPEAT MEDICATION: SCHEDULE 3-6 prescription

in compliance with section 22A of the Medicines and Related Substances Act, 1995(Act 101 of 1965), after 6 months, a full clinical examination must be performed and a new prescription must be obtained.

This regulation is in the best interests of your pet. Disease conditions change and it is important that your veterinarian establish amongst other things, that it is safe for your pet to continue the prescribed medication
